Oh no, they're rubbish. Use VBulletin, please! It's a much better system!

You're wrong. vBulletin is outdated. IPB is superior.

In what ways? vBulletin is more secure, it has more features and add-ons, and it's got a much nicer UI and choice of themes. The only downside is that it costs about $70 a year, but with all the donation and ad money WP's bringing in, that's hardly a lot, and hey, I'm sure the members will even donate for it if you think otherwise.

vBulletin > IPB.

Every forum I ever go to uses vBulletin (i think).
But what is superior about IPB?

We're completely upgrading Wrong Planet's forum software in the next couple of months so this will be a feature we can add after we convert the site to a newer, feature rich web platform.

Ooh that makes me feel so excited - I can't wait to see what kinds of new changes the update will bring! :D

vbulletin used to be better but IPB has recently surpassed it in features and addons.

I use both IPB and vBulletin forums and I think that vBulletin is definately superior. But hey, it's your forum.

That feature will definitely be available in the new revision of Wrong Planet

Would Wrong Planet still look the same after the upgrade?
