This is what the British people are too afraid to show. When people see it, it can be shocking. But I champion british outbursts against the government and lately against the banks. We've been financially raped for too long by both government and banks and we've had enough. We havn't really done anything to show our protestations, but then again the government has threatened with arrest and imprisonment and other means to keep us subdued.

The same is happening to a lot of Americans in the States, the government they wanted all those years ago is no longer being fair or representative of its own people. These days they mostly serve businessmen, celebrities and other politicians. Explosive anger will be in the States within the next 10 years, they are slowly despairing.

You're absolutely right. I live in the southern US, where if/when the riots/rebellions happen, it will start here.

The worse things get, the more vocal the population around here gets. "Take the Country back" and "Bring back the old US" are very common words of the southern people nowadays.

It's only a matter of time until , as you said, explosive anger will ensue, much like what is happening in your country.

I wish things could be resolved peacefully, but that is not the way of humanity.

Obviously I know of the Con/Lib Dem coalition, but 10+ years of Labour rule has annoyed a lot of people.

They're rioting because their tuition is going from preposterously cheap to reasonably cheap. It took me most of a decade to pay off my student loans. I have no sympathy at all for them.

I live in the U.S. where tuition as cheap as they are rioting against would thrill any student.
