I saw one chap I went to school with this morning crawling around town begging people for money. Stupid junkie he turned into, it was pathetic to watch.
It is awkward, running into such people. Last year I ran into someone I went to school with at a convenience store and I'm pretty sure he was trying to "chat me up." It was very awkward. I couldn't help but think, "Sure, when I was an awkward teenager, you made fun of me, but when I'm a pretty(ish) 23-year-old, suddenly you're such a nice guy."

Of course, maybe he'd grown out of his adolescent cruelty, but all the same - no thanks, buddy.
