neither do I, but it doesn't stop one from wondering.

Oh it does. I'd rather not bump into anyone I went to school with, half of them are utter failures

I saw one chap I went to school with this morning crawling around town begging people for money. Stupid junkie he turned into, it was pathetic to watch.

It is awkward, running into such people. Last year I ran into someone I went to school with at a convenience store and I'm pretty sure he was trying to "chat me up." It was very awkward. I couldn't help but think, "Sure, when I was an awkward teenager, you made fun of me, but when I'm a pretty(ish) 23-year-old, suddenly you're such a nice guy." Of course, maybe he'd grown out of his adolescent cruelty, but all the same - no thanks, buddy.

I haven't contacted them, since I graduated. They weren't that great. They were just a bunch of bullies.

These days it's more common to not carry on friendships or relationships made in teenagehood. Many people don't "settle down" until their 30's. They only fool around in their teens. The ones that become teen-parents are usually unlucky, occasionally stupid.

Though, a girl I knew at school settled down with her high school boyfriend whom she split from at 17 and encountered again after 25.
