Keep checking through that security camera footage, maybe he's trying to hide something

No he's not new. He worked there for a few months, then went back to school in Springfield. He came back last October. The boss has the letter. I have also found out through J (Who is the bosses daughter BTW) that M hasn't opened the store properly. Instead of turning the register to Z to clear it out from the previous day, he just turns on the register and keeps adding to the previous days totals.

It's really petty what he's doing Ackman. Sounds like he has problems elsewhere and is displacing his anger.

BTW, do you go to University of Illinois at Edwardsville? (Did I say that right?)

No, I go to STLCC Meramec. This is probably my last semester there.

Okay, I was just wondering. My aunt and uncle are retired from UI at Edwardsville but live in St. Louis (loft)and the Ozarks (house).

man, had I known that dude was such a slacker, i'd have fired him long ago...

it's incredible that he still works there. One thing I could recommend is to do something that pisses him off, like not listening to him. If he ticks off in front of the other employees or the boss, it's a surefire way out of there unless he's doing some major asskissing...

I do... It' called "Killing him with kindness"...

An update:

Last Saturday I worked. I came in at the normal time. He was there and he looked at me and said "God, I guess you're going to have to sit in here. God Ackman, you're controlling my life. Unless I have to remove you by force, then you're just going to sit there. Now sit down and shut up, don't talk to me." I was silent the entire time. A little later, the other employee that was supposed to relieve him never showed up. He was angry that he had to be in the same place as me. He left at 7:00 and someone else came in. I wonder if he noticed how clean the backroom was and how condensed the load was. I made sure the cooler was all nice for him too. I love working there, but this guy is really rubbing me the wrong way.

As for the slacker comment, yeah he is a slacker; a big time slacker. Our duties during the weekend are:
1. Make sure liquor is stocked.
2. Pull things forward in the cooler for me to restock
3. Make sure sodas are stocked as well.

He doesn't help with the liquor, even though it goes by faster when two do it(It's been really dead as of late, so there's plenty of time to do it.) As for soda, good luck. He'd rather text and sit there than do nothing. I find myself helping the customers more than he does; I actually know where everything is, and thanks to my obsession with different liqueurs and spirits; I know the inventory like the back of my hand.

That's good Ackman. Maybe he will get sick of you being so nice and just quit himself, the big jerk.

The pettiness continues.

I've learned from "N", the owners grandson and J's son, that M will not shut his mouth about me when he's on the clock. Here's what he told me tonight:

"I was in here a few days ago getting some Turkish Royals and he called me over to one of the stools where I sat down. 'Tell me, what do you think of Ackman?' I told him I think he's a hard worker and decent human being. He then proceeded to go on a fifteen minute tirade about how terrifying you are, and that you keyed his truck(I did nothing of the sort, I view that as getting on their level and you don't achieve anything that way.) He basically brainwashed me into thinking that you're some evil person. I basically agreed with him so that he would just shut the f**k up. He claims you're a pathological liar, when in fact HE is the pathological liar. If he continues with this behavior, my grandfather will fire him."

So, I'm apalled but humored at the same time. I guess he's trying really hard to find fault with me, but wait there's more:

"So, anyways he reeked of weed and he looked quite stoned. He kept going off on how autistic people are ruining the world. He's terrified of you.(Actually, I'm one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.) Not only is he terrified of you, but he thinks that you're going to murder him in the cooler or worse chop him up into pieces . He views you as something well below him; but all the times I've talked to you, you seem more intelligent than he is. You know your duties of the job, he has no right to talk to you as though you are ret*d. He will not be here for much longer. In this war that he has declared on you, you are easily going to be the victor."

Boy, people will stoop extremely low. It gets better:

"He has everyone here in this store thinking you're some maniac as I pointed out. He even has T under his spell, but T's learning fast that you're no evil person, and he's beginning to see right through M's cracked glass. AS I was leaving, I noticed a person coming in that sat right down at the end of the counter and opened a small box that contained weed. He paid $35 for it. I'm pretty sure that M is not going to last."

I looked at the camera on the day he was there. Sure enough, the weed guy and M did a deal. This war ain't over thats for sure, and when it is, I'll be victorious.

He should be fired now for it. You should go to the one in charge & tell em you are seeing lawyer to file a suit for discrimination because it is very obvious that the company is fully aware that you are being discriminate against

I don't need a lawyer. The owner is letting T handle it. Only when the owner thinks he must step in, he will. I'll give it another week.

I'm going in to work tonight until close. He's there until 5 today. It's also inventory day.

Good news:

The head boss is watching this guy like a hawk watches dinner. He called in today and asked me if M came in after his shift last night. I told him he did. He asked me why he came in and if he bought anything. He bought two little pints of Jack Daniels and walked out. J was working last night too and told him that a customer complained that he reeked of pot and was high on the job.

Dude has been caught on videotape in the commission of a felony. You have a note that the attorneys over at the EEOC would be downright fascinated with. You have testimony from multiple people that he has been slandering you.

How is it that he still has a job again??

Because they are waiting for him to screw up even worse. He's been telling other customers about me too.

Believe me, we all want him gone. He says he's starting HVAC training next week(Good luck with that, you'll have to be clean.)

Why the hell are they waiting for him to screw up even worse unless someone in charge does not really want him gone for some rezone. Maybe he's blackmailing or is somehow related to someone important perhaps I wish I could have a job where I was that invincible. I was a victim of discrimination in the workplace when I worked at WalMart but nothing was ever that bad. I'm not trying to make you feel bad or anything but that guy sounds like a dangerous wacko
