Velcro-ed shut. I was reading chemistry textbooks at age seven, yet I never got that shoe-lace thing down :lol:

I miss those pump action basketball shoes. the shaq line, those were and still are the shoe to have

Finding it hard to do up shoelaces seems common in autistic folk. I've heard this story a lot.

I remember I was the last kid in school able to do my laces up. My school mates used to have to do it for me, I think they found it a bit degrading or something.

Me too :)

I am fussy about my shoes though, my feet are quite wide and also I have very low arches so anything with supports etc inside ends up hurting. I only wear DC type trainers as I've found them the most comfortable
