What's creepy about it, actually? Though, come to think about it, I don't care about my own funeral at all. It's just a sanitary measure, after all.

You don't need a funeral to get rid of a body. If anything, funerals are slightly unsanitary.

Funerals are for the living left behind, nothing more.
