Chicken & sweet corn.

Home made pumpkin soup (as long as I have lots of bread to dunk into it).

I also had a soup a while ago that had bits of egg in it amongst other things but I can't remember what it was. I think I was at a thai restaurant.

It's phở, a Vietnamese noodle soup usually made with beef or chicken. Other ingredients such as basil, lime, bean sprouts, and peppers are usually included too. :)

Ok, that's what my guess was, but I wasn't sure. :)

Moog: Nope, that's what I meant. :lol:

Soup totally rocks.

My favourite is either my butternut squash soup;
butternut squash, potato, carrots, onion, parsley, cream, butter, vegetable stock.

My life-long favourite soup is my mothers 'peas pudding' soup;
peas pudding, vegetable stock, slow-cooked lamb, bacon, leeks, carrots, turnip, and potato.

The butternut squash soup sounds extremely wonderful. I would love to try it. Do you have specific amounts of each ingredient that you always use? I would love to see your recipe---but I respect if you wish to keep it a secret.

Tom yum goong (lemongrass soup)

I love soup. I prefer to make it myself. Except lemongrass soup, because I don't know where to buy lemongrass.

Is there an Asian market near you? Big supermarkets might do it too. Look in the fresh herb section.

Favorite? Dang...

I love soup. Not all soups, but soup. French onion, potato, clam chowder, white bean and ham, beef stew, chicken and dumplings, red beans and rice, gumbo, broccoli cheese, cream of mushroom, split pea, chili, tortilla, vegetable, pumpkin... almost never from a can. Almost.

Beautiful soooup

Beautiful, beautiful soup.

I don't like soup. I'm not a fan of foods that are mostly water like stews as well
