I much prefer baths to showers though sometimes a quick shower is helpful if in a rush.

I find a really hot bath very relaxing and usually do so more for the relaxation aspect rather than to be cleansed. I always use essential oils (esp. majoram, frankinscence, rosemary) when I have a bath and often have a cold shower afterwards to cool down, except in winter when the climate does the job naturally.

I never saw the point of taking a bath, other than being able to play with rubber ducks.

I shower because they are faster and more efficient. I am still bothered, however, by the lack of a good shower toy industry.

I find long showers relaxing; especially when it hits scolding hot. The pitter-pattering of the droplets massages me.

I'm a shower guy. Actually don't know the reason for this, I suppose the speed and convenience. However, sometimes a bath is better. I'd say I go in the bath once every two weeks.

See that's the correlation I was seeking - baths have a relaxing effect and now so can showers, succinctly described by infoseeker...
