Yes,I should really make the effort as it's practically on my doorstep,relatively speaking ! If I was just going to Belfast I'd probably find flying easier,but if going further afield I'd think about taking the car.(Subconsciously I've probably been held back by bad memories of Stranraer - I went to a football match there which got abandoned due to freezing snow and it was a 3 hour wait for a train back)

Wales, you have less people there and it isn't so cold...unlike Scotland....and if the Welsh don't like you....just make sure they don't burn your house by putting up a Welsh Flag outside. :lol:

Sounds a little like the west coast of our south island :lol:

I chose Wales cause someone needs to love them, I've liked those Welsh I've met and it has a dynamic landscape with some decent sized hills.

really though they all have their good points but I'd never want to move there, peace j

Am half Welsh & half English, with Scottish, Irish & German ancestry.
I agree with Vigilans, where's Cornwall in this & the Isle of Man.
If The OP gives us more voting options then I might vote.

I feel kind of silly as I spent a few days probably ~two months ago reading extensively into the history of the Isle of Man. Ah, well. It definitely deserves a mention though

Cornwall is an English county. I've been there a couple of times when I was younger. It's a nice place and all but it's a long way to drive from where I live.

As are all the Overseas Territories except Gibraltar. Gibraltar is considered part of the UK for EU purposes and votes in European Parliament elections as part of the South West England region.

I know. I was thinking in terms of historical/geographic links. But I didn't have the Overseas Territories in mind
