Some US states might abolish the death penalty (I meant the ones that still have it).

People would have to learn to take responsibility for their actions for most drugs to be legalize.

I think we are moving away from freedom from religion, from country, and from long term personal attachments. People will still group together, but it will be more transient.

One possible thing that will become illegal is to hold negative views on homosexuality (so pretty much it is considered hate speech to preach it as a sin, I have already heard of news, I think in England, where some person was charged with hate speech or something, for talking about homosexuality in a negative way).

Hell no, not in America will that happen.

Hate speech is wrong, yes, but especially in this country the government does not have the right to make "views" illegal. (Not to mention "negative" is incredibly subjective.)

A good example is racism. Racism will always exist; we all still have racist views to varying degrees. What is illegal and not tolerated is maliciously acting upon those views (maliciously refusing to hire someone merely because of their race, maliciously throwing out the 'n'-word in public, etc.)

I think it will become legal to eat mince pies on Christmas Day again. When it does, I can finally admit my crime.

You need to keep up. New Jersey abolished it ages ago.

EDIT: How did I miss the parenthesis? And BTW, Texas won't abolish it till' hell freezes over.

Of, or from religion, country, and long term relationships? You said from.
