i like staffies (only when treated proper) but i also like my small toy dogs

I had a schipperke, but he died last summer of old age (He was 17)

I'd love to get another dog. I don't know if I'd be able to get another schip since they're a rare breed in the US.
Maybe a corgi instead.

I love dogs too...most breeds as long as they're friendly. Currently, I have a small dog...though when I went to look at him at a dog rescue, he was listed between 25-65 pounds. I was looking for an Australian Shepherd, & he looked like a cross breed. He's not, he actually only weighs about 15 or so pounds now. But he's smart & sweet, & travels well. Not sure what breed he is or what he's mixed with, but he's definitely a keeper.

I like huskies, samoyeds, labs, golden retrievers, collies, corgis, shiba inus, pomeranians, and bernese mountain dogs.

I love dogs!

My favorite breeds include collies, border collies, shelties, old English sheepdog, bearded collies, Labradors, Aussies, and Dalmatians

I really like dogs in general & am not partial to specif dog breeds. Dogs of the same breed can be very different & lots of dogs are not purebred & your not sure what they're a mix of or what their primary mixes are.

I love dogs more than anything in the world. My favourite breeds, in order, are:

1. English cocker spaniels.
2. Labradors, either golden or black.
3. Basset hounds
4. Jack Russells
5. King Charles Spaniels

I am primarily a cat person, but I like dogs, too. I like beagles, dachshunds and mixed breeds.

My sister and I both grew up with a Maltese and a Black Lab but now we like Beagles because the
family dog is a Beagle.

I love all animals but to be honest I prefer cats as pets.

My dream dog is an Old English Sheepdog but I also have a thing for Border Collies and Mastiffs.
I prefer medium to large dogs and they have to be very well trained.
I have a service dog for PTSD and would LOVE to share his picture.

My next dog will likely be a King Charles Spaniel because the other breeds are too large.

Thus far, I am the only one that does not like dogs

Afraid of of dogs

Two years ago, a dog that I had not even seen, started barking, and bit me

I was screaming

The dog left, as suddenly as she came




In March, a dog bit me. I was screaming. Someone had the nerve to tell me to leave the building. "We don't treat animals like that. Animal Rights!"


"Animal Rights!"?

The dog had a "right" to bite me?

If I were to have bitten the dog, maybe one of those self important boys would have filed a civil lawsuit against me. Or criminal prosecution


What about customer service

maybe, involuntarily screaming in reaction to a dog bite, is not the moral equivalent of, pigs in a slaughterhouse




But before the dog bites, I was already afraid of dogs

And grossly out of proportion

Neither bite injured me

Maybe the third bite will cost $$$$$ damages


Some dog owners act so innocent and entitled

Situational versus dispositional.

Plenty of defendants convicted of mass shootings, have character witnesses , that say they were good, normal, and nice. That does not prove innocence


"She won't bite"

Unless the owner is precognitive or telepathic, there is no way to know if the dog will bite


The previous counselor told me to go looking for dogs and ask the owner "is she friendly?"

What the flying f**k?

You do not have to go looking for dogs. They will approach you

You do not have to ask the owner if the dog is friendly

The owner will tell you







And the counselor acted like what she told me, was the latest greatest scientific invention
