Sorry if I depressed anyone lol, I'm just a philosophical person and I even think about (agonize over?) the dark side of things.

Suicide, it throws everyone around it in a depression that may chain to further suicides. Worst to recover from; I would say.

Yeah I agree. At least with a murder you could gain closure by the murderer being put to justice or by forgiving the murderer; I think suicide is hardest to really 'move on' from. And cancer as bad as it is is natural and a quite common way to die.

Murder, because regardless of your feelings on suicide, at least the person was in terrible pain and the pain has been ended.

Honestly? I'm not really affected by the death of a close relative. It happened 2 times before, when I was 8 and 15. Not to mention many other distant relatives.
I accept death as an inevitable event, regardless of how it happens.

Losing a close family member is the worst thing I can think of. The only thing different in those three situations would be the dominating emotions. Cancer would make me feel helplessness and desperation, suicide - guilt and murder - extreme anger. But I can't chose which one is worse because the hardest thing to recover from would be the loss of the family member itself.
