If I saw a man who looked like Hitler I would treat him with respect (and sympathy). Co-incidentally....my cousin is marrying a man w the last name Hitler.....and he's said the name alone (he looks nothing like Hitler) hs caused him so much grief. The name of a person is no reason to discriminate, let alone someones race! You can choose and change your name (which i really hope my cousins fiance will do) but you can't chage your race!
regardless, if it happened as you claim, the Arab couple have a very legit discrimination suit they could pursue. You said earlier that you exchanged personal information and went to another bar with them, right? Do you know how many witnesses gave information to the couple after the incident?
If you want to get back at a bartender in a resteraunt bar all you have to do is order a dinner at the bar. Get something sloppy like chilly, mash potatoes, or soup. Get some friends to do the same. When the waitress brings it to the bar. Pay for it and give her her tip because you are going to need to leave quickly. When the bartender is not looking flip the food over on top of the bar and use the bowl to spread it around then leave without telling anyone. The bartender will be forced to clean it up.
This happened to a bartender who told one to many Polish jokes to Polish customer. The woman behind the bar had a major break down when the boss told her to clean it up. Funny thing is Buffalo has a major Polish population she should of known better.

Yeah we have each others numbers. Most of the other patrons exchanged information too, because most of them were pushing the couple to take this to court and were willing to come forward as witnesses. But its pretty insane......the couple seems to forgive the bartender and said they will not press charges. They are indeeed NOT American.....because if they were they'd be ALL OVER THIS LAWSUIT! I would see this as my ticket to a nice little nest egg....... They said they have a hard time accepting Isrealis because of the whole conflict (they had lost a few relatives in the bombings and attacks by the IDF), so they partially understand the mans resentment of Arabs.
I feel racism is so weird and pointless. I don't understand how people become obsessed by the color of someone's skin. It's like some bizarre Aspie obsession, but it's NT's who have it. The amount of special interest paid to peoples' skin color and facial features is inexplicable.
Nothing really wrong with that if the Polish customer could also make similar jokes back about the bartender's ethnicity, or something about him that he couldn't change. If it wasn't taken in good humour, the Pole has his answer - clearly it's not "just a joke", because the bartender is offended when his treatment is turned back on him.
Was the bartender Jewish? If so it might make sense. There's a lot of hardline sentiment in Israel.

when i said thye understand the bartenders resentment of arabs, i meant that as in ' we get it because the ppl who destroyed the world trade center looked like us he hates us, in a similar way to how we somewhat resent Jews for taking our land and killing our people"
I dont think the bartender was Jewish, I think he was just a racist white man.
There's a lot of reasons to dislike Islam and its teachings. I would never use it to hate Muslims as a whole though. They're just people at the end of the day. Yes, they have an awful lot of crackpots in their midst but most of them seem sensible enough.
(In the US you have much less of a problem with some Muslim loons pushing their weight about than we do in the UK, for instance.)

I am no fan of Islam in general, but i wouldnt actively discriminate against people who are Arabs by no choice of their own. National origin, birth, ethnicity, race, etc I wont discriminate against. I dislike the religion, finding it medieval and anti-modern, but I would never deny services to an individual(s).

France is already overun with Muslims, and your country is receiving more and more pakis everyday...the open immigration policy is going to cause you guys major problems in the future when it comes to who they and their children vote for, and what idealogy they stand with. Right now, all I see is the Muslim community in Britain and France being incredibly radicalized.
yeah man I feel you. Islam is very anti modern- it may have been a good way to keep society together when Mohammed was around but it doesnt apply to modern society. Any religion that treats women that way I cannot condone. If I remember correctly It also states to kill those who do no believe.....thats downright unacceptable. If Muslim nations waged war on that premise I would gladly enlist and go kill Muslims for the sake of the world. If the vast majority of the ppl were like that I would encourage making a big glass crater out of the Middle East with nukes. But the truth is only a small fraction of Muslims take it to extreame levels...and the extreamists always get the most attention. I mean look at the KKK....probably 0.01 of America is KKK but we certainly see them....and their white...just see what happens when they arnt white. My grandparents were Americans but they were locked up in internment camps simply because they were Japanese-Americans. all it takes is one.
But like u I would never discriminate against a Muslim individual....unless he actually said, ALLAH AKBAR and came into my building with a bomb. that is the only instance i would say something hurtful (before I die)

The bartender was a black Puerto Rican woman the customer would have looked racist if he said something against blacks or latinas. She learned to keep her Polish jokes to herself because you really can't tell which white people are Polish or other European descent neither can the whites for that matter. But then again she lived in a part of Eastside of Buffalo where there are no Polish people or any white people what so ever. Her attitude was the other white people thought it was funny so it was not bad. But she did not know the whites that were laughing were not Polish and the one who was not laughing was Polish.
I know she was not racist because she was dating a white guy she met at work. She just did not know any better from lack of exposure to the Polish population who are fed up with all the Polish jokes.

It's already causing us problems. Rape of non-Muslim women (usually white); mass electoral fraud; insistence on special privileges; segregation; a rise in Islamic extremism; the threat of Sharia law...
A lot of people know this. But any public discussion of immigration is immediately clamped down upon as racist. Any and all discussion - from people in a bar, to a discussion overheard in the street, to our parliament. And because the non-Muslim majority aren't allowed to have their say, racism is breeding. It's breeding because the government clamps down on the EDL whilst all three main parties (and the prime minister) fund the UAF, which is often made up of young Islamic troublemakers. Most of the arrests at EDL marches are of UAF people.
Anti-Islam parties are on the rise in mainland Europe - The True Finns in Finland; the Party for Freedom in the Netherlands; the Danish People's Party in Denmark. The PVV and the DF are even in government in these countries, yet the tide hasn't stopped.

I could not imagine facists taking power in Europe again over Islam. But then again extremist groups do gain power in bad economic times especially when they have a scapegoat to blame their problems on.
