I fix stuff for a living. That and trying to make stuff that doesn't break easily.
I think the best skill a troubleshooter can have is the ability to look at something truly dreadful, go ahead and say, "This is gonna suck" to get it out of the way, and then jump in anyway. On a good day I can do this. On a bad day I'll whimper as I jump in.
