Take the lettuce, mayo and mustard out and that's my sammich. My family doesn't like going to subway anymore. :(

If I'm with my husband, we get a footlong veggie patty between us (husband is vegetarian). If I'm on my own, I'll get a 6 inch tuna. Either way, I'll have all the veg, except olives and chillis, with mayo. The bread that I choose varies and I sometimes get a wrap.

You have Subways in Scotland? wow.....

Interesting to see some of the different toppings you have down there. Wish we had veggie burger here! We also don't have spinach or carrots. Used to have carrots and I used to get them all the time, but the stopped. I don't think we have vinegar and oil here either, but I could be wrong on that one.

As for the "real sub shop": I don't think we have any around here, so Subway it is! :)

It took a while, but they're everywhere now. Even my little town, that only has a few shops, has a Subway.

Lettuce, cheese, pickles and mayonnaise.
Same thing every time.
Not very nutritious, I know, but so good.

The two things I would have on every sandwich are banana peppers and jalapenos.

I always go for the low fat option, so have foot long Italian cheese bread, with roast chicken, bacon spicy ham, pickles, cucumber lettuce, with garlic mayonnaise, English mustard and jalapeño and olives. (I then cut it in three and share with my wife and daughter who pick out the olives. :) )

The good thing about where I live is, I dont have to rely on subway, pizza hut, dominos, etc for good sub sandwiches or pizza...we have great local shops that are far superior to their quality of ingrediants...though of course in many parts of the U.S and i guess the world, these chains are the only way to get a taste of the food, not exactly the best quality.
