I try every new beer I see, and I maintain that most of them don't compare to Fullers ESB. Diversity =/= Quality.
Deschutes, Real Ale, Rahr's Iron Thistle, New Belgium 1554, they are all very good, and worth a try. I just don't like them as well as the ESB, or a Paulaner Salvator.

I've had a hand pulled London Porter at Opal Divine's in Austin. That tasted lovely.

Have you looked at RateBeer.com? You might find some suggestions there?

London Porter was pretty good when I had it, but I've had better ones. The other thing about it is that I was quite inebriated when I started on it.

Think Benjiman Franklin said beer is proof that God loves us. I like anything from bud light lime to obsidian stout depending on my mood.

Ever since i've been in my new place ive been drunk every other day.
I especially love drinking a cold beer in the shower. my favorite!

Hey! I'm a common-sewer of beer!

Miller high life is my everyday "guzzling beer" (every tab or cap means $.10 for returning vets, so drink-up fellas!) but on special occasions, like pay day, I drink Bully! Porter, Avery IPA, or Presidential (Diamond Bear) IPA.

I tend to like darker, richer beers. I don't really care for Guinness. Something about the froth that makes it taste stanky. Some of the local breweries make a decent brew. But I haven't had a beer for quite some time, and I suddenly wish I had one.

I have several that I typically keep on hand.
Right now I have Molsons, Michelob lager, and Sam Adams summer ale in the frige.
Other favorites are Pilsner Urquell. Bittburger, Warsteiner, and Harp.
My leanings are toward lagers and pilsners as you can see.

Would that be quite as black and rich as Mikkeller's Black Hole (13.1%) Imperial stout?

I found some in a store i don't frequent very often. I have had it before and it is my fav aussie stout, i think.
