This is an Iranian girl living in Sweden. I won't tell her name though, because she's the only person in Sweden with that name:

What I like most with Iran is that's some thousand kilometers from Europe...

It's the combination of Middle Eastern bullsh-t religions, Western bullsh-t religions, politics and arrogance that causes the problems, dude.

The Crusades only started because the British couldn't control their own Knights when there wasn't a war on, so they persuaded the Church to invent a war thousands of miles away to get rid of them all. It was VERY nasty and short-sighted. Much like the US supporting Saddam Hussein...

The British have an appalling colonial record. What saddens me is that the new empire - the USA - doesn't seem to have learned anything from our mistakes. Laos, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Israel...

Extremism in any form is bad news.

I thought it was the Normans who really socked it to the Muslims during the Crusades. They were to trying to abolish the warlording system in Northern Europe and uniting everyone, including retired Viking cultures under the Vatican. It was the Normans that had the biggest problem with killing each other and so the church sent them southward.

I have a very close friend who's from Iran. I haven't seen him for a while, but I know that we'll meet again. :)
