Because I have the same needs for human contact that we all have, and WP seems to meet those needs almost perfectly. I also need to feel valued and appreciated for what I have to offer. My unique insight is not always appreciated in NTland. But even here, I don't always feel like I quite fit in, which of course is something I've been dealing with all my life, even in groups of other freaks and weirdos. That's not to say I don't feel welcome. I'm just not young, and my impairment is very narrow, specific and mild. Nevertheless, since I see humanity as a single organism of which I am just a temporary part, I feel a joyful obligation to do what I can to further the growth and development and well-being of that organism while I'm here.

What? Are there new posts there? Where? I'm not sure our mail notification system always works right!

MrMark has a fantastic and somewhat cynical sense of humor.

He has a deep sense of integrety, but he doesn't take himself too seriously.

MrMark can take a personal insult and come right back with a supportive comment that isn't patronizing.

I'm going to do what we call a compliment sandwich, where I take an area where you could improve, and put it between two things I like about you.

You look like Snoopy and it makes me smile.

You have smelly dog farts.

You really dazzled that rep from the Cincinatti office.
