The moon shining through high, thin, fast-moving clouds.

Oh, and heavy rain with massive thunder and lightning storms.

As well as gentle rain.

if there is no one to "see" that something is beautiful, is it "beautiful"?

is there a universal beauty that exists without any life in the universe to see it?

is all "beauty" contained within the eye of the beholder, or is there a concrete definition of beauty that is can be present in the universe without any consciousness being aware of it's existence?

"beauty" is entirely "subjective", and therefore it does not exist where it is not perceived, and that goes on to mean that "beauty" is truly in the "eye" (conceptual realm of possibility) of what beholds it.

low battery power.

I second this. although I'd exclude human infants as they are truly hideous.

How are human infants any different than any new born animals? They are both whiny and needy if you ask me

the concept of "beauty".

I think that's a pretty good one.

yes but we're talking esthetics. human babies are beautiful to their mothers, but objectively speaking they are grotesque-looking and unpleasant to the eye.

Mick Avory. ;)

Old images from the 60s in particular. I'd do him if these were the 60s.

the most utterly beautiful thing that exists in my mind is the encountering of true innocence.

there are some little birds (australian miners) that have control over my heart, and if they had that control taken away from them i would be very sad. i watch the little birds (who trust me) and i am so light and happy to watch what matters to them, and they fly very close to my body because i think they love me in some sort of way.

they are utterly innocent and they are welcome to all the love i have. i do not know how much love i have, but i know i love my little visiting birds fully and finally.

the fact that so many humans can not see equality between themselves and animals is not surprising to me.
humans are like shaved savage apes mostly (in my opinion).

i will unlikely address any reply so do not bother.

The ability to see the bright side no matter how dark things may seem.
