I took my kidlets to see Mr Popper's Peguins yesterday at about noon, there was already a long line 12 hours before the movie started!

I just started reading the series for the first time. I'm not a movie person, so I haven't seen the movies either. I'm looking forward to it!

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone was the first (non-eductional) book that I read completely. I've enjoyed reading the series and watching the movies. I haven't seen the last part of movie 7, but I'll be watching it in 16hours. :D

I've seen the first two movies and than I've decided that I have more important things to do on the weekends, like chores. I haven't seen a movie in almost 5 years.

I knew I could find somewhere to squee about HP if I delved enough into WP. ;)

I've seen it twice (once in costume) and plan to go back with friends/family.

ALAN RICKMAN AT LAST gets his chance to show more than a glowering Snape...

WOW go see it he is amazing that was what I was waiting to see, that chapter explaining Snape's backstory

I took pix of other costumes but haven't uploaded them yet.

It IS a war movie- I agree with the actors who said that. (I got flashbacks myself.)

Amazing CGI pink dragon sympathetic character, too.

Of course, all the actors are great, and you forget that you are watching special effects.

leaves out some important symbolism from the books, as usual..

go see if you are on the fence.

Ugh- every human I've heard speak or write on the subject has said the first two were the worst, and the third was among the best... sorry you stopped there. (they got new directors after 1-2)

Don't let anyone spoil all the surprises for you! It's SUCH a better experience when you can get through all the shocks and twists on your own (having had it both ways several times depending which book!).

When I first started reading the HP series, I thought "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone" and "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" were different books.
