27 is the number of batters faced and retired by a pitcher completing a perfect game in baseball. I don't particularly like baseball, but the stat popped into my head for some reason.

30 is just a dress-rehersal for 40 emotionally, physically I'm doing just fine though - I'm thinking that the physical beginning of old age must be 50...
