Yes. The biggest example was when my grandmother died when I was 11. I felt extremely guilty over it even though her death wasn't anyone's fault (she died of anorexia and bulimia). As I was crying at her funeral, I approached the front podium where a photograph of her and some flowers were on display and I whispered, "I'm so sorry. Please forgive me."

I eventually stopped feeling guilty as I went through the motions of the grieving process, which didn't last too long since I wasn't very close to her.

I used to, but now I don't even feel guilty about things that ARE my fault. It's a side benefit of growing older. At some point you realize that you are a Pre-Existing Condition, and that most of the people in the world never knew it without you in it. So for them, no matter how difficult you are, it's just the way things have always been.

No. If it's not my problem, then it's not my problem; it's as simple as that.

Yeap, why do you think I am saying no offense all the time?

i can get like this a lot.

If I haven't done anyhting wrong, but someone tells me about something they've done wrong, I start to think that I'm the one that's done it, even though its really them that have done it! ...if that makes sense?
