I love walking barefoot, just not in the city. Sand, grass, even little rocks are great, but streets seem to be too dirty and dangerous.

^^ Greetings johnsmcjohn,

I believe that I really enjoy wearing no shoes or socky friends. I believe that I very much enjoy being within my garden with Nell and Plato in this way. However I am very sorry as I believe that often whilst walking outside I happily wear socks and shoes for my happy feet as I am very worried for items including broken glass and excrement. ^^ In addition, I believe that when happily walking within the countryside, there exists many happy ticks who may bless humans with Lyme disease. I do hope this is alrighty that I type a little story below:

^^ I believe that during one happy morning, at approximately 4.00, I think I heard that Nell found a poor mouse and brought him to our kitchen. ^^ I believe that I caught the little mouse within a box and carried him/her to a little park very near to my home whilst not wearing any shoes or sockies as I enjoy not wearing these items. ^^ I believe that I was very silly as I discovered that I had stood within some doggy poo within the park when I returned home and I required to clean this. ^^ I believe that this was very fun however.

It's nice to walk barefoot across the street. The crosswalk paint is warm and nice to walk on.

no i can not do that because my feet are sensitive to sharp object and it feels painful. and there is a risk of cutting yourself on a sharp stone, glass, or metal. it is just too risky for me. however inside the house i am always with socks in winter, or bare feet in summer.

I walked barefoot on my parents driveway & in their yard more than a few times & I always had to go back inside & put on my flip-flops because my feet started hurting & they felt like they were getting burned on the cement but the temperature there is usually 80+. I don't like wearing shoes but I always wear them whenever I go anyplace because it's better than the alliterative but I'm usually barefoot inside

I'm always barefoot when I can, even when I go outside to feed the dogs. Unless my feet are cold then I wear slippers. I don't like wearing shoes, so I only wear them when I have to, like when going to work. And even then, I'm awfully picky about the shoes I wear.

I used to go barefoot from February to November as a child. Even stepping on bees and sticker bushes didn't deter me. But when I was 9 I had an allergic reaction and my foot swelled up til it looked like a football. No more barefoot outside for me. :(

After my son was born I developed some weird kind of foot pain and now I can't stand to go barefoot indoors either. :(

I go barefoot a lot of the time in spring, summer and fall. Lots of people around town do and seeing grocery store feet is pretty common. It really depends on what I'm wearing though, as to if I will or won't wear shoes. If it's just shorts or jeans I will go barefooted. The thing about it is that when it's first warm enough to do it everything hurts your feet. You can feel every little tiny thing on the ground, but by the time summer is over you can walk on broken glass or extremely hot pavement and it doesn't bother you.

I once dated a guy who went barefooted all the time. I mean all the time. He had one pair of shoes and only wore them when it was extremely cold or when his mother made him. This was not down here in the country but in Birmingham, although it was West End so there ya go.

I used to go around barefoot a lot when I was younger. So much that I could run full speed over gravel. Its different these days because I can barely walk barefoot (without my leg braces on) and I can't feel my feet anyway so I don't get the sensations I used to get with being barefoot.

I would if I were less self-conscious, or if other people never gave it a second thought what others are doing.

Lots of placs won't let people in if they are barefoot lkke the sign & saying says "No shirt, No shoes, No service" because a customer could hur their foot & sue. Bowling allies used to let people bowl in their socks but they require those shoes instead of socks nowadays because people hurt their feet & sued. I think it may even be federal regulations that bowling allies & other places require shoes due to safty.
