[quote="jmnixon95"]If I knew nothing about the Internet and someone just placed me in front of the computer for the first time... probably.[quote]

Not one of those ads, but I clicked on a LOT of "free stuff when I was allowed on the internet at school in 6th grade, and at home in 9th grade (though slightly more discretionary by then. )

According to what WrongPlanet advert tells me. But on a serious note, if you saw something like that, would you feel tempted to click it?

AdBlock + Firefox = End of Temptation

More like AdBlock + Firefox = End of irritation. Can't say as I've ever been tempted to click on an advert. On the rare ones I do see that tell me I've won a cash prize, iPad, holiday etc I just ignore assuming they are scams or BS.

even more like NoScript + FireFox. I block ads, comments, videos, pretty much everything that isn't pure pristine content. and the control tools of NoScript are awesome.

also @superboyian - HOT DAMN that's a nice new avatar picture! 8)

Thanks anna-banana, I felt the in a jazzy mood again so hence why I put the Stevie Wonder avatar back again. :P

I used to adblock but for some reason, it slows down my system (I have a weird system if that was the case).

Nooo you tricked me. I thought you actually won.

No I wouldn't click on it either. I don't trust ads on websites, they usually contain viruses.

I wouldn't because I figure it would be a gimmick. I'mnot a clicker, anyway. I never click ads.
