What's wrong with revenge?

That is one of my favorite scenes in any of the Star Trek movies. Although i must admit, Patrick Stewart's got the edge when it comes to acting and that makes his mini-rant better.

Cold, as in emotionless in action. Cold blooded. With forethought and careful planning rather than spur of the moment recklessness. Khan in Star Trek 2 just meant "in space" which, apart from being proximate to a star, is rather cold at only 2.7 Kelvin due to ubiquitous microwave radiation and ambient radiation from distant stars.

Patrick Stewart's goal in vengeance was also a lot more noble than Khan's. Khan wanted to kill Kirk because Kirk marooned him on a planet that later turned nearly uninhabitable. Picard wanted to protect his ship. Khan wanted to murder, Picard wanted to defend.

How many other options are there in fighting the Borg? Just keep building up armadas for them to destroy each time they send a solitary cube to Earth? Eventually they might even think of sending a fleet of cubes.
