I agree with GreySun369 - Japan is a fascinating country for many reasons. I have always had a fondness for it, and I probably always will.

I would like to add that I'm also fascinated with England. Interestingly, my older sister (who lives in England) has said that she's heard that England and Japan actually have very similar cultures. Not sure if it's true or not, but that would explain why I like both of them so much.

I've always felt that Japan and Greece were very similar in a few ways like their ancient mythologies, art and writing styles, and philosophies and talents for inventing.

The USA.

Of course those of you who in the USA are probably going to go "no way! why on earth do you want to come here?", but of course you'd say that if you've lived their your entire life. I'd say the same about the UK.

They shot TV film covering the events of Bloody Sunday in that area. Which says a lot about how grim that part of Ireland is. It's a part of Dublin.

Favourite countries (I can never pick just one):

Ireland, despite its many faults. I include the North in that.

India. I haven't been there, and I know it's another country with many problems. But I have loved their religion and culture for many years, from afar.

New Zealand looks beautiful. Canada for its wilderness. Madagascar for its wildlife.

And not forgetting the Glorious Kingdom of East Anglia.

I want to spend some time in the Republic but damn, it's expensive. If they default, it'll be cheap holidays. Hopefully.

My mum wants to go to New Zealand. I want to go to Israel. And St Helena. And the Caribbean. And Hong Kong. And... etc, etc.
