Yeah.

The state of Washington is having the kiddos do meet-ups with their mom twice a month to sort of take away from that, but she finds herself in the streets of Portland, with only two dollars and a broken leg. We had to call the police to find her. Even with us in the same room, they are reluctant to talk to her (I don't blame them).

At least she doesn't know where we live. It's best to keep her out of their lives as much as possible.

You and your mum have a lot of love to give and I think that's wonderful. You're a very caring person and there should be more people in this world like you and your mum.

Dear Makayla, May I ask how old they are? Sometimes in court, children get to choose where they will live..your family could get permanent custody if the children can express themselves to a judge. God bless all of you for taking them in and showing them what a family really is...Sylkat :D

My nephew is 9 years old, and my niece is 7. They're so cute. My nephew is African American and Native American, while my niece is African, Native, and Irish (I know, odd mix). She has the prettiest hazel-green eyes I've ever seen. Why would anyone want to hurt either of them?

They're much too young to be involved in the court room, but we might eventually gain permanent custody of them. Their mom had her rights stripped away from her about a month ago. She won't lay a hand on either of them again.

I was molested and abused by my half brothers step mom so I completely agree with you.
