Does the wrongplanet "Smile" smiley look evil?

Are very confusing to me. Not sure why I would ever want to use them. I really like the slight smile . It is more friendly than the big toothy

oh my god. i thought i was the only one! i do not at all like the smilies. they creep me out somewhat. the only reason i use them is because there are no others and i need to sometimes. i actually had no idea what they all originally meant until i realised that if you hovered the cursor over them it tells you what they are. and i thought my ability to read expressions was just fine.

I dislike most of the Wrong Planet smileys, so I always have the smileys turned off by default. I dislike the smiling ones the most. This forum should use cuter, bigger smileys, instead, like the phpBB smileys... as it is now, I personally can't use them... I'd feel as if I'd be saying things I don't mean to say. I like a few of them, though, but most just look like crap. :/
