How was your Birthday?
It was wonderful! My mom made it so special for me! We went out and bought a bunch of My Little Pony stuff, including toys and a couple of T-shirts. She is highly supportive of My Little Pony being my new special interest. She tells me that it's really cute and she likes it because it reminds her of when my older sisters were little. She was a lot less embarrassed about buying the toys than I was. She didn't even make up an excuse like "it's for my grandchildren" or something, not even when other women were in the same aisle buying the toys for their young daughters. She even bought me a birthday card which had My Little Ponies on it! I feel a lot more comfortable being open about my Little Pony obsession thanks to her support.
I also got my hair cut for the first time since summer, and it feels so much better than it did when it was starting to grow out! I also found a couple of really cool fidgeting toys at the toy store: a miniature plastic maraca, and a squishy thing called an "atom ball". I have been playing with them all day! I wanted to play with my pony toys very badly, but I want to wait until I am by myself, because I would feel embarrassed if someone walked in on me while I did that.
I also ate a lot of food today. I had Chinese for lunch, and Hawaiian pizza for dinner. I ate a Snickers cake and Belgian chocolate gelato for dessert. That food tasted great, but I have to admit that my stomach is kind of upset. Oh well, it will feel better tomorrow when I wake up.
A lot of my family members wished me a happy birthday today too. My niece who lives in England even sang me Happy Birthday over the answering machine! (she called when my mom and I were out buying presents and having lunch).
All in all, it was a very special day and I am only sorry that it went by so quickly. It seems like only a moment ago I was just getting out of bed, and now it's nighttime and I'm ready to go back to sleep!
