I think going barefoot or wearing flip-flops frequently for no apparent reason at all available moments is just another stupid adolescent fad that everyone will have gotten over within the next ten years.
I hope so, anyway.

Shouldn't there be an option for "never" or "I wear socks every waking moment of the day"?

even in the shower/tub?

I have worn socks in the shower actually - I do NOT think it is normal (lol) - but I had used some scrubbing bubbles to clean out the tub and then couldn't reassure myself that I had rinsed it off enough. So the socks were my way of being able to take a shower without having to think about scrubbing bubbles.

I also tend to wear socks alot.

(And of course I threw out the socks after I showered because I wasn't going to wash them in case they actually did have scrubbing bubble chemicals on them.)

When I was young I pretty much refused to wear shoes. We had no choice in school but they went on on the bus to school and came off on the way home. These days I always wear socks indoors and army boots outdoors. I have weak ankles and the boots stop me spraining my ankles on a regular basis. I don't even own a pair of shoes!

I love going barefoot. When I was a little girl I used to run around the streets in my bare feet from summer to early fall. Even now I wear flip flops from mid-spring to mid-fall. As soon as I get home I take off my socks. I love going barefoot.

Practically all the time. If they would let me go into shopping centres barefoot then I would be.

I prefer to go barefoot in warm to hot weather on the beach or by a pool. When I am inside my house I usually wear socks and/or slippers and rarely go barefoot. 8)

I hate walking without shoes. I'm only barefoot when I sleep, take a shower, or cut my toenails. Touching the floor with my bare soles, no matter what kind of floor, feels totally weird and I feel twice as clumsy when I walk. Perhaps because I'm flat footed.

I answered another question on this but if I could be a full time barefooter, I would be. Feeling the different textures is kind of fun and it feels very freeing. No laces, socks, or fuss.

In certain places I do draw the line, like if its totally not safe to be but I have gone into some smaller stores and a couple other places, bigger stores no and with too many people around, I can't do.

Growing up and before I moved out of my parents' house, during the warmer months I would go barefoot around the house and in the yard. In fact, if me and my immediate family were all home on the weekend or something, all of us would be barefoot during the summer months.

As an adult, I still do, so its not something I ever grew out of.
