This is an HO scale (1/87) Victorian mansion designed and built by Howard Zane (master craftsman of railroad models). His one-of-a-kind models are generally reserved for museums and have been featured in magazines, books, and videos. I have been fortunate to purchase two of his houses. This is one of them. I am as thrilled by this model today as I was when I bought it. I am using it as a setting for a novel I am writing. I have not told my wife how much I paid for these models  .

I went to Thailand and bought this in the Golden Triangle at a Burmese market. It's a prince in a traditional drama. I love his face.

Wow - that is beautiful! And only an 11" x 12" footprint? Amazing.
I found it listed on a Howard Zane site along with some of his other models, and I think it was worth every penny!

Not very interesting but this is my Swiss Army knife. It rarely leaves my hand/pocket.

Only part I've not used yet is the sewing eye. No use for it at all. Everything else gets used quite often or sometimes.

I tried one Summer, nothing happened but I probably gave up too soon. Should give it another go this Summer and post up what happens. Knowing my luck now I've said that it'll be a wet Summer 8)

I know there's usually a tool to get stones out of horse's hooves - maybe that's for setting fire to them?
Presumably therefore there's a horse extinguisher in there somewhere too...

Quite likely to be likely, I'd possibly say. Where's a flammable test horse when you need one? :?
