I don't really like kids at all. I don't dislike them particularly either, not as a whole. But it does annoy me when people act like I should just suck it up and deal with their kid's bad behavior. Children should be seen and not heard.

Children are revolting, disgusting things. They all should be raised by robots in underground academies.

I love my own. I can stand the kids in my own family or my friends' kids. For the most part I strongly dislike the rest.

I don't dislike children. I hate them. Most children are loud, unruly and unpredictable. And they smell. What I hate the most is, as someone else mentioned, when people let their demon spawn get away with the most ridiculous things even when in the presence of other people; then they have the gall to be offended when you say something about it. I actually once got into a physical altercation over this.

We took the dog hiking in the mountains last fall and these people had an honest to goodness baby in a sling (these aren't the most leisurely of trails). Our dog approached them and their dog went nuts, and what did the parents do? Looked at us like it was our fault their child was crying.
Sorry, back on topic.

Thoughts on Children

Don't want em'. I babysit my sister's for the weekend and to be honest, I don't know how she does it. They're a full time job that's for sure.

Childism thing sounds very stupid. Children shouldn't be seen as property, they should be seen as gifts.
As for me, I love children up to about 12 as they are so adorable and tend to be nice but as soon as they start properly growing up, they become so annoying. For an example, kids who'd rebel until they get what they want just annoy the hell out of me.

yeah, i find it illogical. children are simply small people. they are not fully developed so they may have some challenging or annoying behaviours, of course. so to me it doesn't make sense to dislike them overall.

on the flip side, i dunno why people go ga-ga over kids either. i don't squeeeee when i see an adult so of course i don't squee when i see a child either.

I love my kids.

Other peoples kids though, I can't stand. They make me so angry and frustrated. Even the best behaved ones. The exception to this is severly autistic kids. I have infinate patience for little Auties.

Children are loud, filthy, sticky and are difficult to talk too. They are also very frustrating, with the questions they ask, but cannot understand the answers without having to give a long lesson on basic physics. Ugh. Also they poop on themselves, eat things off of the floor and won't leave you alone.

Pets are way better and easier to train.

Say that to rebellious adolescents.

Some kids I loath, some are decent people.

Depends on the child. Not every child is the same. Some are cute, some are annoying as hell.

In general I find kids annoying, I like my own daughter (although she too can be annoying, but no more so then anyone else can be) but other people's kids particularly in shops really irritate me.

I more notice the opposite. Bill Maher once said 'children have become more important than people'. Of course he wasn't implying children aren't people, he was just saying that people care so much about children (or at least claim to) but couldn't care less about the rest of the human race.

Since adults are just grown children, and all cute kids will turn into cynical adults, does it make any sense to prioritize children? Really, you are devaluing people as they age. Respecting elders more imo is also illogical, but at least in that case a person's value increases with age.

I absolutely hate them.

If i had kids, they'd get taken off me because i'd beat the crap out of them, as i have no tolerence for the little s**ts.

I am a nice person though, apart from when it comes to them.
