In the old days, when you wanted to ask a friend, "Sup, what R U Doin?" you had to write it on a letter, put it in the mail, and wait a week or more for a response. Why, in the 1800s, American statesmen John Adams and Thomas Jefferson carried on an IM chat that lasted for more than a decade.

Now, we don't have that problem. You just type "Wazzup?" in your computer on one of these programs, and your words will be transported to your friend's computer instantaneously. It's the miracle of science!

The next project is beer. In cans. And then putting them on special offer for pissed-up youths.

Yes, although they could turn it into a weapon, which might be called an implosive-explosive sub-molecular device.

I think they would prefer weapons that don't bleed.

Why not? Organic weapons can pass the metal detectors.

Alright, looks like I'm slowly starting to get somewhere with all this.

(The names have been blurred to protect the innocent. Well, mostly it's just because I've been meaning to use that effect for quite a while.)

Come to think of it... It probably would have made more sense if I just asked people to invite me instead of trying to individually add people, likely screwing up the information.

So... If anyone feels like adding me, go right ahead. Even if you don't particularly like me, it'll give you a bigger number, and isn't that what friendship is really all about?

Truer words have never been spoken.

Except when Bush said, "I have no clue what I'm doing."

What about when he said "I can only speak to myself"?
