I'm 37 and I don't have a license. Why would I want a car, if I have a good pair of legs to get around on? It costs too much money to have a license and a car.

I don't! I probably never will either, driving confuses me and my anxiety about driving is out of this world. If I did drive I'd probably be one of those road ragers. I hate crowds.

You could always move to the U.S. Virgin Islands. ;)

I tried, and failed my road test four times. It seems that it's just not meant to be. I get where I need to go using my feet and my MetroCard.

I mentioned the U.S. Virgin Islands for a particular reason: it is the only U.S. territory where traffic drives on the left.

That depends what you're referring to. Are you referring to islands inside the U.S. or islands under U.S. sovereignty but not part of the country proper?

I do not have a driver's license, I instead have an ID card that I got through the DMV.

I don't have a drivers license because I have a rare low vision disorder; I'm extremely nearsighted & my visual acuity is close to being legally blind

Nope don't have one and never did. I'm alright driving on a country road but on a busy one, I get distracted and have trouble making up my mind before I decide which lane to get into.

I'm surprised the amount of people who do drive. It's embarrassing to have people ask why I don't drive. I find myself among the very small minority even among NTs.

I recently tried to get that but they wouldn't let me have one because I didn't have enough points. There are various identifying things you need 6 points worth of and I only have 3-4.
