What I did saturday morning & why I dont shop at Wal-Mar
Since being on a fixed income, I find that Wal-Mart prices compel, but the stores repel.
And besides, I don't have a car, and the car-share service I use is like $13/hours. So trips to a brick-and-mortar store are not cheap.
Thankfully they currently offer free shipping on orders over $35. I've had good experience with their online shopping. But then, I would never order anything that might need to be returned either. (Paper towels and other staples are not something I would foresee needing to return.)

I worked at Cr@pMart for 25months & that story doesn't surprise me. They have some real deadheads working there but I think some stores are worse than others. That automotive person was a real moron. I'm also surprised that the manager gave you a negative balance on the receipt instead of giving you a gift card with the balance for store credit but at least they were able to put most of it on your credit-card.
My dad bought a new battery from there & it went bad 6months before it expired. He had no problems exchanging it for a new one. The new one also went bad about 6months before it expired so he exchanged it for another new one without problem & the 4th one also went bad shortly before expiring so he got a 5th with no problem. He lucked out in a way because he only paid for one battery & got like 4/5x the life because they kept going bad shortly before expiring My dad finally broke the cycle by buying a new truck last year(he had the other one for over 10years)
