Wish I knew the answer to this one...... .

I am not even on the radar when it comes to appearances :alien: .

Maybe I'm just on the wrong planet :?: :chin: :sunny: .

The problem is, that to try to answer, is by default going to make me sound conceited, and I beg not to be that. My face is nothing special, but I am a bodybuilder and very much into fitness... Well-defined 8-pack abs with veins showing, and all that stuff. People stare at me (men and women), anywhere I go, and they even stop me to ask what I do to look this way. If I'm at the mall when the Abercrombie models are standing out front, I see people glance at them and then look at me, which is flattering, since they're all about half my age and have better looks over all IMHO. Honestly on one hand I appreciate the attention for all the effort I put into it, but on the other hand, it absolutely and in NO WAY makes me a happier or less happy person. What it does to, is to give me a feeling of accomplishment and boosted self esteem, but I'd equate it to "getting rich", as far as NOT contributing to happiness. Happiness comes from how we feel about ourselves, and how we treat others in order that they treat us well, and like us, etc. That's the bottom line. I know more ultra-rich, great-looking people who are sad and miserable, than I know poor people who think they're maybe a bit ugly, but are perfectly happy in life.

I wouldn't know. I've been told that I looked kinda cute back when I was younger, but if that was true, it didn't do me much good. I still managed to be a weirdo and an outsider. I guess that it's not just looks that make people popular. You also have to know how to play the social game, bare your teeth at the right people at the right moments, and say all the right things that people expect to hear.
