What did you dream last night?

i dreamt that i was in a large square city courtyard that went on for miles, with some shops on one side and a bordering avenue on the other side that went north/south. i walked all over the courtyard until i found an interesting storefront, so i entered and ran into a large audience of people there to see somebody just out of my sight, and in the audience i ran into an old real-life acquaintance speaking with jerry lewis [the muscular dystrophy telethon guy], and jerry seemed to know me from a long time ago, and he warmly greeted me and sat me down to show me some stuff he got somehow from dean martin's family, items such as a denture cup with vaseline-lip marks around the edges, and a wadded up kleenex in the middle. jerry told me that dean wanted him to have this old stuff of his and to show it to certain deserving people, and jerry said i was one of the deserving. after a while we said our mutual goodbyes and then it occurred to me that i should get in a car and drive away from there- so i got in a conveniently available sedan and drove south down the avenue until i got to an underpass which had a double set of barrier doors on it, and as soon as i drew near the doors they suddenly slammed shut, causing me to ram into them and to dent them, which caused them to open again, revealing a perturbed security guard. i promptly got out of the car and apologized for not reacting quickly enough when the doors suddenly closed, but the guard waved his hands as though to tell me to pipe down. then more security guards, 2 females, came up and asked a bunch of questions of nobody in particular, and they argued among themselves before suddenly i found myself out of the car and on an old-fashioned cigarette boat, an old type of speedboat used by smugglers. i was in the boat with alex trebek [the real-life host of Jeopardy!] acting as the pilot. we all were on a body of water that was arranged like city streets, with "intersections" marked by while lines somehow floating atop the water, and stop signs and signals and all that. we had the right of way all the time for some reason that made sense only in the dream. we bounced up and down upon the waves at great speed and leaned left and right with the turns. i then slowly evaporated out of this dream into waking reality.

I'm curious. How many of you keep dream diaries?

I dreamt that I was riding a motorcycle down a highway at 200 mph and passing cars with a close call on a dare.

Great. I don't think very many people keep dream diaries. With dream diaries regardless of how you keep track of your dreams gives credibililty if any of them come to pass. I hope you have dates for your dreams.

I keep mine on external drives now instead of notebooks, though I have posted them on websites such as WP. I've seen too many site administrators go to new bulletin board software starting completely fresh, therefore all the post ar lost. And that happens when the website's space runs out or if the privacy is invaded. Eventualy I know Wrong Planet will have to do something with their site if and when they run out of space because it is one of the busier sites on the Internet. I hope it don't, otherwise we will lose everything we've posted plus our ratings. This is how my luck has been going.

I'll just say it had some Skyrim stuff in it.

I dreamt I was in the waiting room for my therapy seission, had to sign a stack of papers, made a grammatical error and started having a huge melt down. I threw all the papers into the floor and started screaming and sobbing. Woke up with a sore throat.

sorry about your ungood luck, most of us have our share and then some. i figure dreammoods.com and WP together offer sufficient data redundancy for the safety of my recollected dreams. as for any of 'em coming true in full, in actual physical fact, so far none of mine have. may your luck be better [at least with the good dreams ]

Very fortunate that I didn't dream about zombies last night...

I dreamt that I was at the site where my high school best friend Alex's car crashed, he died on the way to hospital (he was only 14, it was the day after my 15th birthday and so my fault he was in the car rather than with his friends celebrating my birthday) - despite my watching many gory videos online I fortunately wasn't able to imagine him in the mess he would have been in after the crash, but it was still upsetting.

I woke up distressed, more so when I realised I can no longer remember his laugh

I had two distinct dreams. One was very short. I dreamt I woke up and threw back the covers and found four cats that had come in and crept under the covers with me during the night. I have three cats, but only one cat in the dream was mine. One was my neighbor's and the others were strangers.

Then I dreamt I went into a restaurant/club that was getting ready to open for lunch because I had seen a sign advertising "female singer wanted". I was wondering why I was going in, since I can't sing well at all. Then I turned around and looked out the window in the door and saw a really cute guy outside, who turned out to be a musician in the band that wanted the singer. When I turned back around it was full night and the place was packed. I sat in a booth and the guy sat next to me. Everybody was laughing and I saw that they were watching a YouTube video of my very long ago ex-boyfriend being a twit. I told the guy who it was, and he wasn't discouraged--in fact, he tried to kiss me.

I don't usually put corny dreams in my dream diary, and I had a corny dream last night. When I do record a corny dream, I have to see some sort of message in it.

I dreamt that I was sticking a ruler in flower pots with blue and pink muddy soil to see how deep it was in the pots. I had to measure several posts that was sitting along the edge of a sidewalk.

I had moved into my new/old house. Exploring the place, I opened the door to the patio and a little cat ran in. It was white with bright markings like someone had colored here and there with crayons.

Night terror cant remember what it was just pain blood death and waking every one in the house screaming and crying. Feel like a 3 year old having a nightmare for the first time every time.

That my dad came back from being vanished and that i tried to fight him with my baseball bat, but my first alarm clock went off and i was thankful for that ><

i dreamt that a beautiful doctor i used to work for, visited me in my dream, and she looked better than ever, but she was accompanied by 2 lean and mean guys wearing monochromatic tan and black clothing, with close-cropped hair and an air of menace, that kept me from chatting her up more. we were in an airport of some kind, and she picked me out of a crowd of pedestrians and kept looking at me like she was waiting for me to tell her some specific thing. then i awoke.
