it's gotta be lister.

Cat was good but he wasn't consistent throughout the show ( he was cool to start with but then he just got lame, embarrassingly so towards the end), kryten was a little boring, rimmer was someone i actually did warm to as time went by, just lister is the one that i consistently liked.

My favorite was Holly. They should have written more for him (it?). If you mean favorite for hypothetically hanging out with, it would be Kristine Kochanski.

My favorite was lister. They are filming a new season of Red Dwarf. Robert Llewellyn , who played Kryten, posted about it on G+ a while back. He also has some interesting podcasts he has been doing.

Oh Rimmer for sure!

Although Ace "Smoke me a Kipper I'll be back for breakfast" Rimmer was probably the better version!

And who else was disappointed that the movie was NOTHING like the original series…?! You want it to get better but it never does...

Kryton, as he always has to explain the rules after Rimmer states one.

The one about "Not attempting Oral Sex with false teeth in Zero Gravity" still cracks me up.
