are more than reasonable.
How come that annoys you?
Buy bag of chips from cinema = $5, buy bag of chips from grocery store = $1
Also some people may have food allergies, diabetes or just food intolerances. Should they not also enjoy snacking while watching a film?
Yeah, the prices at confectionary counters around here are far fom reasonable. I always bring my own food and drink. But I eat quietly, and make sure I open the packet before the movie starts
I admit my mom, my sister and I do this whenever we see a movie together at the neighborhood theater.
However, whenever I go see a movie by myself, depending on how much money I have with me,
I either by a drink from concessions {approx. $5} or eat beforehand, so there
won't be a need to buy something from concessions.

I usually eat beforehand as well, since I usually can't hear the movie dialogue over my own crunching.
(When with other [NT] people, I also avoid certain types of movies. I'm generally too scared in horror movies; and detective movies frequently make me feel stupid because I'm not very good at figuring out the intentions and all the hidden "strategic" stuff that goes unsaid. This is when any attempt at talking afterwards gets even more painful/embarrassing, when it turns out the stuff I'm confused about is clear to everyone around me.
Amazing! I really did not think that there were others who felt the same way like me on exactly that problem about people talking to you right after the movie. That thing you say about confusing/getting too scared is also something I suffer from. I think one of the big problems here is the Aspie tendency to focus on details instead of the "big picture".. So if we e.g. see a detective movie with our NT friends, they really have all the advantages.
1) Their senses are not totally shattered like ours, but intact and ready for more
2) They can filter out the useless stuff.
3) They really want to discuss the movie right after its over
So yes cinemas are clearly built for NT's. The good thing is that this wrongplanet exist, beacuse here we can talk about the problems, and who knows. This talk could maybe one day lead us to build an Aspie cinema

I become very conscious of what is happening around me, so I have a dislike of people who ignore others.
1) When short people (like kids) decide to sit right behind me, and I have to duck uncomfortably for the entire movie (I already have a crook in my neck from ducking through my life)
2) The other side, people who sit in front, and don't care if they block view
(yes I have had both 1 and 2 happen at the same time)
3) The people who don't care how big a mess they make, they leave popcorn and litter everywhere, it is not fair to the people working there
4) (now this might sound really mean, and I do not hold grudge at these people, but the topic was whether they are annoying) It seems that I often end up with someone who has a disability such as down syndrome, and they tend to be a little loud, I actually feel a little sorry for this.

1. Cell phone use: I wish everyone put theirs on vibrate or turn them OFF during a movie.
2. Running in and out: Very annoying and makes me want to nail them to their seat with a nail gun.
3. Talking: Save it for after the movie.
4. Crying babies: If you just have to bring the baby at least exercise the common courtesy to quickly take them OUT to the hall until they stop.
5. Farting: Save it till later.
I guess I'm lucky in that the two theaters that I usually use are pretty quick to escort someone OUT if they act up enough.
Something I've found that helps A LOT is to wait until the movie has been released for a few weeks before going OR go to the latest showing of that night.
There have been a few times when going to the late show I've (or we've) had the whole viewing room to myself.
