No, I chose the Dream.

Online afterlife would feel too restricted to me. While there is much to be found in terms of data. I would be constantly reminded of not being in the real world. It would tear me apart.

Dreaming for all eternity would be governed by my imagination. It's a wildcard, sure, because the guy explicitly states that good and bad dreams may alternate, but on the other hand I'd be stuck in my own quirky mind for all eternity, and that's more than a little comforting.

No afterlife preferred. When life is over I would like it to be over, over.

However, if that is too much of a diversion from the spirit of the question: I'll go with incorporeal being capable of interstellar travel alla 2001: Space Odyssey.

edit---i didn't read the link. just answered the subject title.

I would join the online afterlife. I enjoy playing online games and watching videos on YouTube. I would also enjoy chatting with other AC's.

*poof*

Man did that guy blab on forever... tl;dr much??

Anyway.... none of the choices were too good really...

It'd have to be either

a) a type of religious heaven that includes the rainbow bridge, because I need my pets too. Otherwise, no thanks.

b) dreaming forever; that way I'll at least see my loved ones of all species occasionally.

If I could choose completely freely, I'd pick a green place with a nice house where I, my parents and my grandparents would live, along with all our pets and surrounded by lots of wonderful plant and animal life. There would be a river nearby, and there would most definitely be turtles and tortoises there, and not too far away sea turtles would come ashore to lay their eggs. We'll hear frogs and toads croaking, and crickets chirping. There will never be disastrous weather, so our house and the wildlife will be safe, as will we. There will be no other people there. In our house we will have an enormous library with all the books we love and would love to read at some point, and we will have our good board and card games, and miraculously there will be electricity so we can enjoy electronic entertainment if we want.
We will all be free of any disease or ailment we had in life.
No one can get sick or die.

Sigh... Doesn't it? Until proved otherwise I'm holding on to the hope that something wonderful does await, and that we'll all meet again.
