I'll watch shooting (archery included) if it's on, but that's it.

Not interested in things I'm not interested in.

Ordinarily I wouldn't be interested, but it gives me an excuse to hang around doing nothing.

I do not enjoy watching any sports at all save for auto racing but I do not consider that to be a sport.

I like sports and usually will watch some, but haven't this time around. It probably has to do with the vast majority being shown on tape delay and I usually know the results by the time an event comes on.

I love watching the Olympics and I can't get enough of them. I even sacrifice my sleep, so I don't miss any of the action. :)

not that i give a damn, but america has the worst olympics coverage, most tape-delayed to broadcast in the most renumerative timeslots.

Maybe, we could include the rest of the animal kingdom in the Olympics. Something like let loose a pride of lions at the starting gun of the 100m. I bet Usain Bolt would shatter his world record if that happened. Swimming with crocodiles for Phelps and company would make for an interesting dynamic beyond the 2 dimensional world currently employed. Monkey gymnastics, wrestling bears... the list is potentially endless. I don't see why someone can claim world supremacy otherwise.

I would like to apologize to the non sports fans in this thread. I was a little short in expressing my opinion. I was complaining about a younger person contradicting me and it seems like I did the same thing.

My parents have been watching em but I couldn't care less but I never liked watching any sports at all. My parents don't watch sports either thou my dad liked football & maybe other sports but he'll only watch if he's somewhere & they have it on.

I would respond to the poll in favor of ice cream, because that seems more relevant than anything to do with sports, but I don't like ice cream, so I guess I hate sports then...

This. ^

I despise sports, in general. Why should that change just because the Olympics are around?

I will watch a little bit of the Equestrian, if I happen to catch it on television, but I won't go out of my way to watch it.
