what is a moderator (probably a stupid question, i know what a moderator is in a debate for exemple but what do you do here as a moderator i mean?)

A moderator is someone who looks after the goings ons of the site. These can include things like banning/restricting those who cause trouble on the boards by means like spamming, trolling, flaming, sock puppets (ban-dodging can fall under that category). They also do things like move topics to the appropriate boards and also lock/delete the inappropriate ones. The only moderator I see regularly is CockneyRebel. I know, alex should count, but he's Site Administrator, with a similar function. He does stuff like handling the server and fixing up bugs in the coding and adding new features (such as YouTube inserts, for instance).

(it's not one of the ones you showed us, but it's not your old one either)

cockneyrebbel i've seen posting a lot af times, i think she takes the bus on the same hours as i do ;-)
and is fond of the same kind of wordgames/topics or so and of course a red bus can't be missed !

the others i havn't but then again i haven't been here so long either and i have to read the same person a lot of times before remembering i think
