Impossible. Sociopaths are intelligent, charismatic, and manipulative. Chihuahuas aren't much of any of those.

They certainly are pure evil, however.

Chihuahuas aren't charming with their cute looks? :) They lure you into a false sense of security and then unleash their evil on you! That seems like sociopathy!

Perhaps the question to ask is if you are a sociopath, what type of pet would be chosen?

One that's useful in some way and can be easily trained into total obedience.

I think the thought error done here is that if you have pet X you must then be a sociopath. The only conclusion would be that ifyou have pet X there's a increase in the probability that the person also is a sociopath.
Otoh, perhaps there are other accessories or pets that signal friendly person ;)

I had two chihuahuas for a long time -- two littermates I adopted as little pups. They were very lovable and insanely cute little ones. My boy was very protective of me and his sister, and was super-affectionate; my girl was sweet tempered and friendlier, and liked to lift her leg when she peed. I think chihuahuas are wonderful dogs. I didn't treat them like fashion accessories or toys. They helped me feel at home and more content, being someone who has lived by himself for a long time. They fit into New York City-size apartments beautifully.

People have all sorts of silly biases and judgments about different breeds or mixes of dogs, and dogs can be all over the map with how well they interact with adult humans, children, other dogs of different sizes, cats, etc. I used to have idiots insult my dogs while walking them by saying snide, stupid things like "Look! Rats on leashes!" If there were any moments I might have been sociopathic, it was when people dissed them like this.

Well then, I guess anyone who picks a dog breed based on practical characteristics is a sociopath. Ie. anyone who picks a Doberman for being a good guard dog, anyone who picks a Beagle for having a strong nose. I think some people out there get small dogs because they're easier to treat as accessories.

I think most sociopaths wouldn't treat a dog very well. Cruelty towards humans is usually born from cruelty to animals.

These are Chiihuahuas we are talking about! Little noisy and evil rats bred and disguised to look like tiny cute puppies.

I had two Chihuahuas as a kid, they loved us but tried to bite anyone else.I heard a story about a old lady that carried hers around in her big old lady purse,a pickpocket stuck his hand in there,OUCH!
A interesting bit of folklore from this area,to cure a kid with asthma you get them a Chihuahua to sleep with,I know several people that swear by this.
