Why are animals so disgusting?

I love animals and I especially love dogs. :O)

It all started with the Diaper Thread.

Four legs, understanding eyes, preferably furred. That's what makes a lovable animal. There's nothing that makes a disgusting animal, they simply don't exist.

Because they resemble humans in terms of behaviour.

I think Humans are disgusting, not animals!

My lizard is the cleanest animal I have had actually, out of many dogs, cats, farm animals, birds... No poop eating, butt sniffing, pee drinking, private licking at all. Takes baths on his own to clean off and relax too. Nothing disgusting about that... I think he may be less disgusting than a whole lot of people actually.

People are just as disgusting as animals, we just do it in the toilet. Besides, I prefer animals to humans.

The stench of canines (especially wet ones) is beyond horrendous, but the only things I find disgusting about animals are coprophagia and/or when some of them roll around in decomposing carcasses (my friend's toothless cat licks herself after eating the wet cat food and it leaves a similar stench, which leads to her getting monthly baths).

My dog doesn't really do anything disgusting.
She doesn't eat turds.
She doesn't roll in dead things.
When she does have an "accident" in the house it's always on the tile in the foyer where it's easy to find and clean up.
The only thing she does that really bugs me is digging in the yard. I can put her out for just a few minutes and half the time I have a dirty dog to wash and a hole in the yard. It doesn't take a pit bull long to dig a crater.

Don't alot of animals sniff butts. If you couldn't find out where they were based on talking to them you would sniff the crack too.
