At my eighth birthday party, all I got were Barbie dolls. Seriously, I got, like, twenty of them! But here's the thing. I was a total tomboy at the time (that's no longer an issue since I'm pretty much girly-girl to the core) and the only things I did when it came to toys like that was torture them. I remember I enjoyed cutting the heads off of them when I was three...

My grandfather gave me and my brother this strange wooden object. We had no idea what it was for many days after Christmas. I think my mom finalily got the guts to ask
him. It was designed to hold a baseball bat, ball and glove. Neither brother played sports so it was a bit odd. Both my grandfathers were very quiet men so I rarely remember any words they ever said.

When I was eleven, I've recieved a white nightshirt with pink stars on it. I've hated pink, at that age. I was more into the colour, blue.

As a kid, clothes and soft stuffed toys like Teddy bears I could not stand them. I always prefers hard toys like cars with rotating parts. These days I like clothes as long as they fit but definetely still not stuffed toys.

my uncle/father lives in texas so he doesn't know what i like. he's not even the one shopping for my present! it's his wife.

today i recieved a manicure set with nail polish from him :lol:

next year it'll be a pink purse! just wait...

Poor you. I got a little pink puch with amanicure set in it last year from my mom...so, um, not to be presumptious, but did yourmom, um, fluff and snuff with her brother? If not forget I said anything. I've been weird today.

A long time ago for christmas I got this see-through backpack from my aunt and uncle. Oh yeah, I'd just love for people to know what is in there. :roll:

Actually, pretty much any gifts from my grandma(on my dad's side) are bound to be crap. She gave me one of her fiction books, which I knew right away I would not read. Author was Debbie Macomber or something...anyway it looked very uninteresting. She's notorious for re-gifting too.

I've gotten my fair share of jewlery too, which I don't wear. People don't know me very well apparently. :roll:

Haha. Me too. my Grandma gives me interesting things too....such as pillows. they were cute though.
