Why are they changing the layout so often?! I hate it.

All major websites do it. Craigslist is the only exception I can think of. It still looks just like it did in 1996.

Changes for the sake of changes keep web developers in their jobs. As long as they can keep thinking up new worthless features, that nobody except them cares about, they will keep getting their pay checks.

Honestly, it looks like youTube's layout changes at least twice every hour. I stopped caring around the 1,505,751,645,068th change, just a few weeks ago.

Doesn't it seem that with each step towards crApplization, users are also losing their privacy settings and other features? A couple years ago, users lost the customized backgrounds and layouts, and after this, they lost the ability to display friends and keep some comments or subscriptions private. Now they require you to use a phone number. I guess this is some sort of counter-troll measure :?. This newest layout looks so....cluttered, like my closet, which needs a serious cleaning (there's a freaking air-raid siren in there - and my camo pants I have not gotten to wear in over 5 years ).

I loved the previous layout.

What were YouTube thinking changing it to this awfully cluttered design. The previous one was so easy to navigate upon.

YouTube deliberately broke Google's feedback system on their domain because they don't want millions of complaints coming in at once:

It's not very good. It was so nice and neat earlier, but then they just had to go and ruin it. I mean, it could have been a lot worse, but at the same time it could have been a whole lot better. And I hate how they autoplay from playlists now. I mean I know they made that change a while back but ever since they did it's just been so irritating.

I actually like it. I just hate what they did with the profiles though.
