My sister threw a huge fit and my mom came over here and threatened to send her to a Psych Ward, and then she left, and I tried to find Xanax to take but my dad took it.

I didn't do terribly much aside from eat dinner and open presents. I got an electric toothbrush, some random kitchen utensils for my apartment at college, and some money. It was just me and my parents--contrary to what I bet most people on here would say, I would have actually liked it more if someone else was over or if we went to someone's house. That would make it more of a special occasion.

I wonder if they did not invite you because they were affraid you would drink up all their booze? :D I got some Bacardi 151 (151 proof) rum . It has a metal disk with holes in it on top (flame arrester). Made in San Juan , Puerto Rico. I looked
your brand up and saw it was made in Australia.

I'd prefer vodka, but we're lacking in hard alcohol.

I'm four days away from home (till tomorrow)staying at my parents-in-laws' house, a lot of talking.
First with my daughter driving here (husband and son came later) and she has been talking the three hours non-stop.
then going to buy my daughter's keyboards with my father-in-law who talked more than an hour as well.
Went with my brothers to wish my grandfather -who is living in a resthome- a merry christmas, two hours of talking.
And having dinner with my parents-in-law, the phone near by, my brother-in-law's first daughter is born , four-five hours of talking

All very nice people, and i'm doing my best but i'm a bit exhausted.
Next will be visiting the newborn this afternoon and family christmas-dinner (with a very noisy brother-in-law with two noisy kids and a lot of wine) tonight...
but i'll survive it ! !

Am I the only one who worked? I work as a baker's assistant, packing pies. I worked until almost midnight, went home, went to bed.

I spent mine in the pub from 4pm onwards. Came home, had a big té and went to bed for a few hours. I've had a sore throat all day, I don't think they liquorice-y stout I had down the pub helped too much either. Not too bad, though. :)

Yesterday, I had to work until 10pm, then made mulled wine for today, my boyfriend and I had some of it, and he gave me some nice jewelry. We exchanged gifts because he left to spend the day with his family. I also got some nice bath stuff from the Secret Santa at work, and the rest of the gifts will be opened sometime, probably after dinner.

I went out for Sunday Brunch with my mom. Then we went back to her place, baked cookies, and watched movies the rest of the day. (The Running Man, Total Recall, and Commando -- an Arnold Schwarzenegger triple bill!)
