I literally *have* to have a radio in my head, as I have pronounced Tinnitus :(. Otherwise, I cannot concentrate.

Yep! I always have things going on in my head... Songs, voices, commercials... Doesn't everyone? that's what I thought!

Now I'm wondering if it also works the other way around and if this makes you hungry. :P

Ahah nope :D But it would indeed be useful if it worked that way... ! !

In my case it would be counterproductive I guess, I have certain periods in which video game soundtracks are very common, so eventually this would result in serious weight issues: At one time overweight and the other time when that time is over the exact opposite.

O Great the voices in my head are singing. I hear the music and see the video that goes with the music.

Most definitely have this. Sometimes it comes in handy for my DJ work, previewing a mix in my head before actually playing it out.

Not always but often. I think my not-so-eternal radio is operated by a somewhat masochistic part of my subconscious because I am as likely to hear something horrendous which I have heard during the day as I am to hear something I like.

edit: For songs which I have heard more than a few times the playback I hear in my head is pretty much beat and note perfect. Sadly this doesn't appear to translate into any kind of musical ability; I have always made slow progress in any attempts to learn an instrument I made; I put it down to my clumsiness.

my internal eternal radio seems to be [presently] playing 7-second loops of "night train" as performed by harry zimmerman and his big band. before that it was bits of "alexander's ragtime band" by the same outfit, and before that it was bits of "sentimental journey" by the same outfit.
