Well as others have said I would run away to a safe distance and then call the police. I'm not sure if this is the morally correct thing to do though......I'd do this to protect myself.

I'm not sure what the morally correct thing to do would be.........kill the bastard? That's my first inclination...prevent him from killing any more children. I guess if you could personally make sure he is put away from society unless/until he's rehabilitated and is no longer a danger and maybe could even contribute to society that would be best. I don't think it would be possible though............how would you really know someone is rehabilitated and how would you make sure they are put away until that point and won't just get off on a technicality or something? I don't know.

Yeah, what's morally right would depend on the details of the situation.
