What kind of gas mileage does your Cube get?
My aspie-mobile is a 4runner. I love it but the gas mileage sucks.

It gets 27 mpg--my commute is very short--just 2 miles, so gas mileage wasn't a big factor in choosing a car. A bigger factor was finding a nearby dealership that was easy to drive to for service appointments.

Nice thing about Nissan and Toyota is that they rarely need very much in the way of servicing aside from oil changes and tire rotations. If you've only got a 2 mile commute even those servicings will last a long time.
For me it's a 50 mile round trip to and from work 5 days a week.

Yes, my round trip was 62 miles and my Scion (Toyota) never had issues. They are very reliable!

Not good for this aspie, I need eveything semetrical(draw a line down the middle and both sides look the same) or else it drives me crazy. I'll keep my older truck, its paid for, decent on fuel not that I drive much, its very handy and the bed in the back keeps my interior clean and thats good for sensory issues. The cab is set up well fitment wise and since I won't be having any kids room or them is not a consideration.

I can also second this comment, my Nissan Almera is 12 years old and in awesome shape, had it for over a year now and had no problems aside from dull maintenance stuff like swapping tires round. Only 77,000 miles on it which aint bad for a 12 year old car. It still drives almost as nice as my mum's brand new Nissan Qashqai, the steering feels a little floaty but nothing too annoying. I like Nissans.

I like the look and the fact that it sits high. I liked the Scion when it was more boxy, but they have since re-styled it so that it looks like everything else.

I live in the city and only put like 10 miles on a vehicle each week, rarely driving more the 1.5 miles for errands. So things like mileage, wind handling, road noise, and so on are not that important.

My current Nissan is 20 years old, 100,000 miles, and has required only the most minimal servicing, so the one picture here catches my interest for sure.

I already have a tricycle that I could use if gas prices got outrageous.

But, I need the commute to keep my driving skills sharp--especially the part about interacting with other drivers....

Where I live, you really need a car to get around--there used to be grocery store in center of town--it has been closed for several years now--the closest ones are so inaccessible that the town has a special bus service so that seniors and disabled people can do their shopping! I almost forgot that there used to be hardware stores in town as well--but they have been gone for decades.

They are interesting looking, but not for me personally. I like Nissans though - reliable, and cheap to run since they require little maintenance - I had a Sunny a few years back which I just couldn't kill off.

My current one is an Almera Tino, a smallish MPV - as with the Cube it sits high and has loads of passenger space, but is shaped more like an earlier model Renault Scenic or Citroen Picasso. I like it so far.

Your car has a very cool design.

Nissan Almeras are only brand new here, and you can only get them as sedans. Funny, Cubes aren't listed on their (aust) site so I suppose you can only get them used now.

I wouldn't mind a 370Z or Skyline, they don't excite me all that much though.

I think they make sense, and are very well-engineered. Personally I like bigger vehicles, but if I wanted a smaller one, I'd look at those.

I wanna get one of these, this would be a perfect commuter car for me, imo.

Very small car. 600cc motor but really quick. Good mileage.

OH! Probably one of my favorite cars I've driven was an AW-11 MR2. Handles so well. Feels like you're driving a rocket ship even when you're going like 35mph.
